We have found several references to the 'old drill hall' on The Goffs; and the drill hall on The Goffs is shown on the 1900 OS map. There was apparently a water mill behind the drill hall, making use of the Bourne stream. We would be grateful for up-to-date information about its status.

According to an article in Eastbourne Today, November 2008, the pub named The Drive, on Victoria Drive, contained a function room used as a drill hall, but as the pub was built in 1929, it is outside the scope of the project.
