‘The Territorial Force stationed in the town comprise the D Squadron West Somerset Yeomanry… and E Co. 5th Battalion Prince Albert’s (Somersetshire Light Infantry), which has head quarters in Sherborne road. The drill hall, built in 1913, includes a shooting gallery, 90 feet in length, officers’ and non-commissioned officers’ rooms and men’s recreation rooms.’

This Drill Hall is extant but may have been modified during its lifetime.
